Holy Grail Discovered: Pristine Atlas Craftsman 12" Swing Lathe

Описание: A Holy Grail relic is hard to describe. You may have never seen one, in fact anyone you’ve ever met may have never seen or touched one. Faith drives you and deep down you know it exists somewhere to be discovered. It may take years or decades but an adventurous soul traveling far and wide will eventually be rewarded for their unwavering steadfast dedication. At long last after 17 years of searching, my crusade has finally paid off and I have found the Holy Grail lathe. As a huge fan of the Indiana Jones franchise, fortune smiled upon me as I found one just as the fifth movie was released.
What qualified for such an impressive and irreplaceable relic? These are in no particular order but some are more important than others:
1. Excellent to like new condition.
2. Completeness
3. A swing 9” or more and ability to turn between centers at least 24”
4. 110 voltage
5. Quality construction from a company with a reputation for precision products that last the test of time.
6. A spindle bore of at least 0.500”
7. Commonly available replacement parts and accessories
8. Within my means to obtain, i.e. price and ability to inspect and transport
9. Nostalgia, something from the period of the Golden Age of American Manual Machining. (Defined here as the era post WWII/Marshal Plan to the end of “Stagflation”)
