Cleveland weather: The surge in spring temps arrives Thursday and Friday

Our next round of rain moves in later this evening into tonight as a warm front surges north through the state.

Temps will remain steady overnight in the upper 40s. This will be a nice springboard for our temps on Thursday with highs expected to push near 60 south, but that colder air will stick around our lakeshore counties. A few waves of rain and storms will move through Thursday as this warm front heads north.

We'll be well entrenched in the warm air on Friday and Saturday with a mainly dry day on Friday before clouds return Saturday. Rain and storms along a cold front will move through sometime Saturday afternoon into the evening. Highs will push the 70-degree mark both Friday and Saturday.

Cooler, drier air settles in Sunday and Monday behind this front, but it will come with lots of sunshine. Temps will rise once again into the 70s out ahead of a bigger storm system that brings another round of storms sometime Wednesday with a big temp drop and some snow on Thursday. Yikes!
