Thenga/Coconut Chammanthippodi is a roasted variety of Coconut chutney which can be preserved and used even for months. This is easy to cook at home and less spicy. It is usually made by crushing the ingredients with Ulakka in Ural (both are vintage crushing instruments those are not in use now a days) and the taste was better than the item prepared now. We dont have the facility now and grinding to make powder out of it. But it has also a natural and different taste.
