The war between Israel and Hamas has been raging for three months now. Civilians have borne the brunt of the violence on both sides.
More than 22,000 Palestinians and 1,200 Israelis have died. About 85% of Gazans have been displaced and a quarter of the population is facing famine, that's according to the United Nations.
The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, is on the second full day of his trip to the Middle East as diplomatic efforts to end the carnage continue.
