Idaho Centennial Trail 2015 Thruhike

Idaho is home to an amazing and wild long distance trail. The ICT is still in its infancy as a thru-hike but takes you through some of our largest and most primitive wilderness areas. There is a ~400 mile townless stretch that crosses the Frank Church, Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness and the Clearwater Nat'l Forest. The Owyhee desert in southern Idaho is mind-bendingly desolate. Wolves, bears, and big cats abound as well as pronghorn, deer, elk, big horn sheep, mountain goats, beavers.

Idaho is my home state and my goal is help bring this trail to life. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me and I will supply any information I can. I want to see people doing this trail!

This trail is not for the feint of heart. You will bushwhack until you love bushwhacking. You will navigate and routefind your way through unmaintained and unpopulated wilderness.
