Today is my day off, so I’m slowing down and embracing simple living at home. I open the windows to let in the fresh air, leave the bed messy for a while, and prepare my 6-year-old for school. After the school run, I come back home to enjoy a quiet breakfast, instant noodles with vegetables and instant coffee, allowing myself to choose ease over perfection.
Later, I reset our small home by tidying the bedroom, folding laundry, and doing light cleaning. I pick up my son from school, and cook a simple family dinner.
As a minimalist mom balancing work, study, and motherhood, I share peaceful homemaking, realistic routines, and slow living in Sweden. Life isn’t always perfectly tidy, sometimes it’s slow, sometimes it’s messy, but always intentional.
