Hi! We are Andrew and Sophie, two best friends living in and exploring the wonderful state of Colorado.

This is the second video of a new, personal series. We take you on trails throughout the US, primarily in Colorado, to share what different trails look like. We hope these help you in the planning stages of your hikes! Please keep in mind, trail conditions are highly dependent on weather, available parking, wildlife, trail work, and more. Overall, this is meant to be a down-to-earth series that keeps it simple, showcasing what trails have to offer.

Trail: Mule Deer Trail and Raccoon Trail to Panorama Point
Trailhead: Bootleg Bottom Picnic Area
Location: Golden Gate Canyon State Park, near Golden, Colorado (about 50 minutes from downtown Denver)

Key notes for this trail:
Best time to arrive for parking is early morning, no later than 7:30 AM
The trail becomes much busier as the day progresses, including mountain bikers, there is also a popular campground in the park along this trail
