Gw2: Solo Arah P2 [

Описание: Lupi is 1:33, which is pretty good and 5s faster than my avg, but my fastest one was 1:15 : ( Shit boss
I would have never guessed, but I’m enjoying Willbender a shit ton. The mobility is super fun and even the combat is more fun than Firebrand once you get used to playing without quickness imo!
I’m just gonna talk about it now in order to prevent questions/discussions: I am aware that willbender has another shadowstep in its kit (one of the utility skills), and it’s quite decent, so let me tell you why I didn’t use it:
It brings you in combat instantly on mob touch with no way of avoiding it, which made it basically impossible to use in the last skip and the mines skip, and very very annoying and clunky in any other skip really
Since SoJ goes on a very long cd when build template swapping and I didn’t want retreat or judges intervention to have such a long cd, it ended up with the wb skill always inheriting that 40-60 seconds cooldown, making it only useable once per skip
I think it isn’t very suited for arah p2. Any other dungeon I probably would have used it, but there were so many instance of it just bringing you in combat / it not working very well with the path in general here, that I just ended up swapping it out. That being said, maybe it could have been useable even here, but there is no way it would have resulted in a significant time gain compared to the amount of frustration it caused me
That being said, I am really happy with this run. My goal was sub 11:30 and I met that fairly comfortably. Most bosses are smooth, Alphard was 10 seconds slower than my best skill, and lupi was ~15 seconds but hey.. The amount of rng included in these two fights is frankly insane, so while I’m sad about that potential sub 11, I’ve grinded a shit ton, and this imo is a very very good run. Mesmer might be able to compete, I am really not sure though since my mes solo had reaaaally good boss kills, shrug.
