Utah County Public Defender Ben Aldana publicly declared himself mentally ineffective to represent Barlow and filed a motion to withdraw from the case on August 14th. But Fourth District Court Judge Robert Lund won’t let him. The question is, did Judge Lund show bias for the victims protecting victims’ rights over those of Barlow, the defendant.
