Dr. Diana Marion’s own experience with postpartum haemorrhage ignited her mission to play a significant part in reproductive health. She began by improving access to life-saving blood screening in her community and now serves as a national leader at the Kenya Medical Association where she advocates for doctors' welfare and mentors the next generation of young health professionals.
Dr. Marion is a fellow from the 2025 Women in Global Health Leadership Fellowship, a program designed to advance the leadership skills of talented African women who are passionate about gender equity in global health systems. It is co-designed and implemented by Moi University, University of Cape Town and University of Toronto under the Africa Health Collaborative, in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.
