Second pick on the board and I take an 8 4 10 wheat sheep wood spot, which sets up a natural second settlement on an 8 3 ore brick spot. Coordinated 8s on wheat ore with solid wood production. The start is quick but then the rest of the board comes crashing down on us and it looks totally over. We stay in it, pivot to army to keep the game alive, and wait for our moment. Then the 8s start rolling and the whole gameplan clicks into gear.
