【宇美神社について】
私の持病である方向音痴の症状が悪化したのか、どうしてもこの神社への道が見つけられず、近くのお店の前にいた方に聞いてようやく辿り着けました。教えていただいた方、ありがとうございました。
（ナビが道路の入り口を間違えていたようですｗ）
宇美神社は整然としていて美しく、鳥居の外から見ただけでは想像もできないくらい素晴らしい神社でした。特に屋根の彫刻（向拝の下の宮彫）がとても綺麗で屋根好きの私は大満足でした。
境内の様子を他にも撮影したはずが、その動画がなくなっていて大号泣事件となりましたが、きっとまたこの神社には再び参拝するご縁が生まれるのかなと、勝手に想像しています。
この神社のご利益は「縁切りと縁結び」というお話ですが、出雲の地で縁切りなんて！と驚くなかれ。良縁を結ぶためには、悪縁を切るということが必要なのです。（物を捨てると良いことが舞い込むというのに似てる？）宇美神社に参拝するだけでも、縁切りと縁結びの両方をお願いすることができますが、宇美神社で縁切りをしたあと出雲大社で縁結びという参拝ルートが人気のようですよ。

About Umi Shrine.
I could not find my way to this shrine by any means, perhaps exacerbated by my chronic condition of directionlessness, and finally got there by asking a person in front of a nearby store. Thank you very much for your help.
(It seems that my navigation system had mistaken the entrance of the road.)
The Umi Shrine was beautiful and orderly, and was more wonderful than I could have imagined from just looking at it from outside the torii (gateway). I was especially pleased with the beautiful roof carvings (miya carvings under the kohai), and I am a roof-lover.
I would have taken other videos of the shrine grounds, but those videos were lost, making it a big crying incident, but I imagine that I will surely have a chance to visit this shrine again.
The shrine is said to be good for "breaking off marriages and bringing together couples," but don't be surprised if you find yourself in Izumo, where there is no such thing as "breaking off marriages! Don't be surprised. In order to have a good marriage, it is necessary to cut off bad marriages. (Similar to the saying that good things will come to you if you throw things away?) You can ask for both divorcing and marrying just by visiting Umi-jinja Shrine, but the popular route seems to be to visit Izumo-taisha Shrine for marrying after divorcing at Umi-jinja Shrine.
