【物部神社について】
神社の到着した時にはこれほどすごい神社だということは知らなかったんです。だって駐車場の前に小さなお弁当屋さんとかあったし、まわりは庶民的な雰囲気に満ちていました。ところがです。鳥居をくぐって驚きました。そのめっちゃ広い境内に。空間の使い方が贅沢すぎて、距離感とかサイズ感が完全にバグってしまいました。しかも拝殿や本殿の左右に境内社などがいっぱいあって、見落とさないかとドキドキしながら回りました。方向がわからなくなってウロウロしてるところとか、神社の前で感動して放心状態になっているところなどの動画をカットして編集するのがとにかく時間がかかってしまいました。境内にいるときの自分の感情の動きを後から思い出しても楽しいです。動画の最後に、地域に貢献した岩谷九十老翁の石碑が出てきます。この方は飢饉の時に私財を投げうって町民に食物を与えたそうで、地元の小学校の校歌にも登場する偉人です。こういう方の石碑を建ててお祀りしていることにとても感動しました。物部神社は勝負の神様として有名で、競馬関係者やファンも多く参拝されると聞きました。参拝した時にリピーターになる人が続出しそうな感じがしたのは間違いではなかったようですね。行く前に宝くじ買えばよかった。

About Mononobe Shrine.
When I arrived at the shrine, I didn't know that it was such an amazing shrine. There was a small lunch box shop in front of the parking lot, and the area around the shrine was filled with a commoner's atmosphere. However, when I passed through the torii gate, I I was surprised to see the huge precincts of the shrine. The use of space was so extravagant that I completely lost my sense of distance and size. Moreover, there were many shrines and other buildings on the grounds on either side of the main hall of worship and the main shrine, so I was very nervous as I made my way around the shrine, hoping not to miss anything. It took me a long time anyway to cut and edit the video of me wandering around without knowing which direction I was going, or being so moved in front of the shrine that I was in a state of abandonment. It is fun to remember later how my emotions moved when I was in the precincts of the shrine. At the end of the video, you will see a stone monument of Iwatani Kujuro Oh who contributed to the community. This man gave up his personal fortune to give food to the townspeople during a famine, and he is a great man who is mentioned in the school song of the local elementary school. I was very moved by the fact that they built a monument to him and enshrine him. I heard that Mononobe Shrine is famous as the god of victory and is visited by many people involved in and fans of horse racing. I guess I was not mistaken when I felt that many people would become repeat visitors when I visited the shrine. I should have bought a lottery ticket before I went.
