Join us on a ride through one of Brisbane’s most beloved cycling routes — Goat Track. Known for its scenic beauty, smooth tarmac, and signature gravel section, this climb connects to Mount Nebo and has been a favourite loop for road cyclists and gravel lovers alike.
But things are changing.
The Goat Track is now closed for roadworks, and the iconic gravel segment will be sealed. That means the ride we all know and love will soon be a completely different experience — smoother, but missing the rugged charm that made it unique.
In this video, we capture what may be one of the last rides on the original Goat Track before the upgrade. If you’ve ever ridden it (or want to), this is your chance to relive or discover the magic of this Brisbane cycling gem — just as it was.
