My first attempt at a gravel race was a tough one! The 2025 Seven Gravel Race, part of the UCI Gravel World Series, was 125km long with around 3200m of elevation. I went out way too hard and had burnt all my matches with 50kms to go 😅
I rode this on my Giant XTC (carbon hardtail mountain bike), and while it did the job, I might look at buying a gravel bike if I do any more of these events.
