Описание: In this episode we follow the in the footsteps of the Swedish king Charles XII and his army on a journey through Europe in the early 1700's. It will take us to unexpected places in the classical world. In a series of unlikely events the young hero king in a way visits the world of the ancient Egyptians.

Ancient History makes illustrated short documentaries about the history of the ancient world – from the beginning of civilization to the fall of western Rome. (However, I don’t guarantee that I won’t do some excursions to the Byzantines and other intriguing aspects.)

All narrated material is original unless stated differently. Anyone working on our scripts has an academic degree relevant for the subject. Photos are generally from public domain.
