There were two films that enticed me to purchase the Pyrex Flameware Double Boiler. This, and Let's make a sandwich 1950. I already owned 2 saucepans and a skillet (skillet replaced after original exploded). How times have changed! Let's make some scalloped cauliflower! Sharing :)

If you should try and make scalloped cauliflower from this silly video:
White Sauce
2 tbsp butter
2 cups milk
2.5 tbsp flour (started with 2 but added more)
Salt to taste
Pepper ( added after)
Monterey Cheese (freshly shredded)
Started at 375 pumped up to 400 - taking too long to brown.
