ENGLISH VERSION: Today’s Bible Verse (16.01.2026)

VERSE
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isaiah 43:2

EXPLANATION
I greet you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today we meditate on a powerful promise from God found in Isaiah 43:2. The Lord does not promise a life without waters or fire but He promises His presence in the midst of them.

Crossing still water may seem manageable but crossing rivers is terrifying. Rivers overflow, they roar loudly, and they threaten to overwhelm everything in their path. Yet the Lord lovingly assures His children that when they pass through the rivers, they will not overflow them. This promise brings deep comfort to every believer facing intense struggles today.

You may be standing before mighty waves right now. You may feel surrounded by troubles that seem ready to crash over your life. Do not be afraid. The Lord who declared I will be with thee when thou passest through the waters is standing beside you. No matter how frightening the rivers appear, they cannot overpower you because God Himself is with you.

When Moses and the people of Israel stood before the Red Sea, they saw no way forward. Behind them was danger and before them was an impossible ocean. Yet the Lord divided the sea and walked with them through the dry ground. David also testified saying Then the waters had overwhelmed us the stream had gone over our soul Then the proud waters had gone over our soul Psalm 124:4,5. But he praised God because the Lord did not allow the waters to consume them.

The Lord also encouraged His people saying When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies and seest horses and chariots and a people more than thou be not afraid of them for the LORD thy God is with thee which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt Deuteronomy 20:1.

Later the Israelites faced another impossible river the Jordan which overflowed its banks. When the priests stepped into the water carrying the ark, the river stopped and stood back. God made a way where there was none.

Beloved, whatever struggle rises against you today remember this truth from Isaiah 43:2. The waters of life will not overflow you. The Lord who promised His presence is faithful and He will carry you safely through every trial.

PRAYER
Loving Father I praise You for Your faithful promise. Lord today the waters of tribulation and reproach rise around my life. Grant me the power of the Holy Spirit to cross these troubled waters. Do not let me drown in fear worries or discouragement. I trust that You will lift me from deep waters and place my feet on firm ground. Strengthen my faith and keep me faithful to You alone. Let Your name be glorified through my life. I pray in Jesus name Good Father Amen.
