Exploring The Grampians then making our way down to look at some SHIPS in PORTLAND!

Me and my dog ( Zeus ) hit the streets on another adventure, this time heading up into the Grampians here in Victoria, Australia. We checked out a number of campsites in the area whilst we where up there including Freshwater Lake Reserve ( Overnight campground ) and yes that is exactly what it is. very nice little place for a quick stopover on your way around the Grampian mounts, we then headed up along the Grampians road till we got to Plantation Campground, we checked this out and decided to go look at a few others. We then headed over to Flat Rock, Lake Lonsdale to see what those campsites were like, i was very impressed with the area and would definitely return to stay however Zeus and I decided to head back to Halls Gap and then back to Plantation Campground where we stayed for a few nights having the best time there. HIGHLY recommend staying there when you get a chance, great views of the mountains and well kept toilets aswell. After our stay we went on another quick adventure through the heart of the Grampians following Victoria Valley Road, We found a nice lookout to take in the views at the top before heading back down and we then went over and checked out the Rocklands reservoir specifically Glendinning camp ground, i will for sure be back with the boat to stay at this one! what amazing views it had looking back at the mountains and i reckon it would be good fishing too!
