😍Benefits : it’s a perfect relaxing, calming pose for toning and loosening the groin muscles, hips and inner thighs. It also strengthening the thigh muscles, in the event if you wish to practice your split☺️
✨Option 1 : come to seated butterfly pose. Adjust your heels distance between pelvis depending on your flexibility. Place forearms down behind, and slowly lower down to your back, arms down next to your body. You should feel a nice gently stretch on your inner thighs, just stay there, relax your whole body, allow the gravity to pull you down. Meditate for 2-3 mins.
✨Option 2 : place a pillow under your upper body, extend the arms to the back, imaging you are doing a morning stretch. Adjust your heels base on your flexibility, the closer to pelvis, the more sensation you would feel. Relax the whole body and gravity will pull you down. You should feel a gentle backbend in this position, it’s so good to lengthen your spine at the same time when stretching the lower body.
✨Last but not least, knees together and push yourself back to seated pose, hug your knees to check to bring your body back to neutral. So easy and calming!
