Midland Line Bassendean to Midland 2026 Shutdown Operations

Описание: After the closure of the old Midland Station with the last train on the night of the 21st of January 2026 (   • Midland Station Farewell - Last Day of Ope...  ), the Midland Line began a month long shutdown between Bassendean and Midland in preparation for the new Midland Station opening on the 22nd of February. In this video we check out both the train and bus operations as part of this shutdown, including the trains terminating at both platforms at Bassendean as a result of the second crossover near the station being electrified in late 2025, and with the proper announcements which have been added to the trains since the previous major shutdown beyond Bassendean in October 2024 (   • Midland Line Bassendean to Midland Shutdow...  ). (There was also a sudden closure in March 2025 when the announcements did already exist (   • Ellenbrook Line Rail Replacement Route 903...  )). We also take a look at some of the buses operating on 901 including BZL electric buses venturing to Midland which is quite unique, and the new deviations for routes 291 and 301 as a result of the Morrison Road level crossing closure.
