From August 2025 until January 2026, the Adelaide tram network was shut down from South Terrace to Glenelg for a level crossing removal project and road resurfacing works in Glenelg. The day this video was posted (Australia Day 2026), marks the return of the full operation of the tram network with the new overpasses, so in this video I just take a look around how the network operated during the shutdown with trams only running in the CBD, including a temporary depot at South Terrace, plus my thoughts on some changes that have happened in Adelaide since my last visit.
