Hey, everybody! I want to show you the work in which I practiced in a hurry to create a natural environment in the style of European (In my case, Russian) forest and lake in it.
To create this scene I bought several models for archviz, then a little optimized them and prepared for the engine. (The models were exclusively under .max + corona)
I built shaders and made textures for them, as well as made some edits to them.
There are 200-300+ million tris in this scene. The scene runs in real-time at 20-30 fps on RTX3080ti
(I didn't have enough time to make better optimization of assets)
Overall Unreal Engine has improved quite a bit since the last time I worked in it. Lumen and Nanite at the moment make it very fast and easy to paint a very nice picture.
