Butter chicken by cooking with girija/chicken makkhani or butter chicken recipe in hindi

Welcome to "cooking with girija"
Recipe is "Chicken makkhani or butter chicken"
1 kg chicken. Clean the chicken pieces. Add 3 tbs oil ginger garlic paste.
Add 3 tbs of kashmiri chilli powder.
Add 1 tbs turmeric powder.
Add 2 tbs garam masala powder.
Add salt as per taste.
Mix it well.
Marinate it and leave it for at least 20 minutes.
Another pan add 2 tsp butter.
In this add 3 cup chopped onion and soute for 2 minutes.
Now add 5 medium sized chopped tomatoes .
Cook it.
In this add 1/2 cup water.
Add 2 tbs kashmiri chilli powder.
2 tbs garam masala powder.
Add 2 tbs vinegar.
Let it cool down.
In a jar add this prepared onion and tomatoes.
Add 1/2 cup of cashew nuts.
Grind it make a smooth paste.
Strain this paste and keep a side.
Another deep pan add 3 tbs of oil.
Add chicken pieces and fry it.
Like this fry all the chicken pieces.
Remove the chicken pieces.
In the same pan add the paste.
Add salt as per taste.
Let it boil for 2 minutes.
Now add 4-5 tbs butter.
Add 1/2 cup of cream and cook it for another 2 minutes.
Add chicken pieces.
Cook it for 2-3 minutes.
In the end add 1 tsp of kasuri methi.
Mix it well.
Butter chicken is ready to serve.
Shift this in a serving bowl.
Garnish with some fresh cream.
