Basic Words:
ひなまつり (hinamatsuri) = Girls' Festival, Doll's Festival
もものせっく (momo no sekku) = Peach Festival
おまつり (omatsuri) = festival
おんなのこ (onnanoko) = girl
かざる (kazaru) = to decorate, to display
ねがう (negau) = to wish, to pray

📖 Key Grammar Patterns
1. 〜ように (〜you ni) = "so that..." / "in order to..."
おんなのこがげんきにおおきくなるようにおいのりします
= We pray so that girls grow up healthy
びょうきにならないようにねがいます
= We wish so that they don't get sick
2. 〜といわれています (〜to iwarete imasu) = "It is said that..."
おそいとけっこんがおそくなるといわれています
= It is said that if you're late, marriage will be late
3. 〜によって (〜ni yotte) = "depending on..." / "according to..."
ちいきによってちがいます
= It differs depending on the region
4. 〜から (〜kara) = "because..."
もものはながさくきせつだからです
= It's because it's the season when peach blossoms bloom
5. 〜てみませんか (〜te mimasen ka) = "Why don't you try...?"
おいわいしてみませんか?
= Why don't you try celebrating?
6. 〜という (〜to iu) = "called..." / "that is called..."
「うれしいひなまつり」といううた
= A song called "Ureshi Hinamatsuri"
