La primera parte de la tercera clase repasa estrategias que se pueden usar en terapia del habla después de la reparación del paladar hendido/ fisura palatina. Es importante enseñar al niño que la mayoría de los sonidos se hacen con el aire escapando por la boca y no por la nariz. The first section of the third class discusses strategies to use in speech therapy after cleft palate repair surgery. It is important to teach the child that most sounds are produced with air escaping through the mouth and not the nose. Strategies that the child can use to know when air is escaping through the nose or the mouth are also demonstrated.
