New Delhi, May 21(ANI): Myanmar government handed over 22 northeastern insurgents to India on May 14. This is the first time that the Myanmar military, Tatmadaw has responded to India’s request and handed over any northeastern insurgent.
According to reports, the 22 insurgents were brought back to Imphal where 10 of them were taken to Guwahati and the remaining 12 were detained at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal.
