How to make mandarin orange cake | Orange Cake | Cake Recipe

Описание: I love this fresh Mandarin Orange Cake for the nutty flavour, damp and sticky texture, the beautiful fresh picked Mandarin orange flavour. The fresh mandarin oranges cannot be substituted with orange juice – the batter in this recipe relies on the thickness of the pureed mandarin oranges. Also, using whole mandarin oranges delivers massive mandarin flavour that Orange Juice can never replicate!! I highly recommend using fresh mandarin oranges (or fresh orange) for this cake.

Since I’m using oil instead of butter for extra moisture, it’s really important to properly beat your eggs for a light and fluffy crumb. This is the only step that adds air into the cake, so I like to use my mixer for an extra boost of power. You’ll whisk together the eggs and sugar on high speed until pale and fluffy for about 5 minutes.
Note: Add the flour, being careful not to over-mix the batter.
