1 LB Ground beef 80% lean
2 Large minced onions
1 Small minced green bell pepper
2 TBSP Unsalted Butter
2 TBSP Hawawshi Spices
1 TBSP Onion Powder
1 TBSP Garlic Powder
1 crushed Bay Leaf
1/4 TBSP Ground Cardamom
1 TBSP Ground Coriander
Salt
Ground Black Pepper
2- 3 TBSP Melted Butter
6-7 Pita Bread
Optional 1-2 TBSP Red Pepper flakes

NOTE: if you can't find Hawawshi spices you can make them your self:
1 Tbsp Paprika
1 Tbsp ground black pepper
1 Tbsp ground coriander
1 Tbsp ground Cumin
1 Tbsp Piper cubeba (Java pepper) spices
1 Tbsp Onion Powder
1 Tbsp Garlic powder
1 Tsp ground cardamom
1/2 Tsp ground Nutmeg
1/3 Tsp ground cinnamon
1/3 Tsp ground Cloves
