Описание: Our first experience of wild camping (OFF THE GRID) in a semi-arid region at the top of South Africa! Namaqualand extends from the Namib Desert all the way to the Kalahari, mostly situated in the Northern Cape. Its harsh, hot conditions host to a variety of flora and wildlife, and we completely fell in love with the serene, rocky landscapes.

We spent 10 days making our way along the Namakwa 4x4 Eco Trail, which was totally remote and untouched. We visited the local community Goodhouse, got to meet some of the school children, learnt to fish traditionally from the gurus in the area and camped along the Orange River each night.

We are so grateful to Get Out, Go! for inviting us to join them in such a unique and tranquil place. 11 hours out of Cape Town, we highly recommend making this trip to see some of the sacred, natural beauty that SA has to offer!
