The Jimny Gathering is South Africa's LARGEST Suzuki Jimny Gathering! After the success of their launch in 2023, they returned this year in September for their second official gathering – and we are SO chuffed we got to be apart of it!

The gathering is a space for Suzuki Jimny owners and enthusiasts to come together and connect over a three-day festival of amazing entertainment and activities, in the most scenic setting at Louvain Guest farm, just outside of George.

We made our way up via Route 62 (an incredible drive that may have to feature it's own YouTube video...), stopping over at Barrydale's Diesel & Cream, where we also met up with the rest of the convoy led by AfricanSky. 27 Jimnys then made their way to Rooiberg Lodge to spend the night before the big day... From then on out it was a chaotic, wonderful weekend filled with lots of chatter, laughter, live music, and off-roading.

We had a fabulous time; listening to the likes of Arno Carstens and Schalk Bezuidenhout, dancing to a silent disco and very questionable karaoke (stay tuned to the end of the video for a TREAT), bonding with our... entertaining colleagues, and OF COURSE: BREAKING A WORLD RECORD!!

In 2023, the event was supported by 787 Jimny owners; and this year we smashed that record with 1127 Jimnys simultaneously closing 1838 doors!
