Fast Ringing Safetran Mechanical Bells At The 4th St. Crossing, Davis CA

Last week I was out in Davis and Woodland on the CFNR. I started here since I occasionally heard them over the scanner in Davis in the morning to pick up there cars from the UP but that seems like the Davis pickup isn't always in the morning but also in the evening so I didn't get a train here. But I did catch a couple of trains on the CFNR in Woodland. I don't know when or how the CFNR runs and runs there jobs but I wish I did so I can get them and there classic crossing on this line the West Valley Subdivision. I'm not sure if this was a malfunction or a maintainer triggered it as I saw a guy measuring stuff near the tracks and measuring the one of the crossing signals lights from the mechanism down at the 5th St crossing. He didn't mess with anything that would trigger the crossings through. I was standing by this crossing looking down the tracks and all of a sudden the 5th St crossing activated first so I just still stud there as there was no train coming nearby or neither in the area and after 5th st activated seconds later 4th Street where in at activated also almost like If an invisible train was running which there was no way I would of know that 4th St was going to activate as I though it was just 5th st malfunctioning. Since that missed the activation and the gates lowering since I didn't know this crossing was going to activate since there was no train. I decided to still film this crossing after the gates were already lowered since it had nice sounding fast ringing Safetran Mechanical Bells. Also after this crossing deactivated you can hear 5th St still activated with its WRRS Bell and NEG E-Bell. This crossing at 4th St With the near Cantilever signal and the other side cantilever is an SPRR 1960s - 1970s signal build install with everything seeming original to install and the other side cantilevers gate mast signal being an CFNR late 2010s made out of refurbished Safetran equipment with everything original to its install also. This crossing is on the CFNR West Valley Subdivision at the Davis Wye of the UPRR Martinez Sub.
