Railroad Crossing Compilation Of Safetran Type 3 High Pitch Electronic Bells

Описание: Railroad crossing compilation video of Siemens/Invensys/Safetran Type 3 High Pitch Electronic Bells. Not many of these are in Northern California but the number is growing after after SACRT started using them on their light rail system in 2020. The high pitch tone also seems to mimic a Safetran Type 1 E-Bell in ring rate just with a different sound and pitch. The assumed time frame of who made this bell from what year in order of course starts with Safetran being the original designer and builder of this bell. The Safetran original modal of Safetran Type 3 E-Bells were made and used from 2007 to about the early 2010s in 2013 where Invensys Rail took over making this Bell where they made a slight design change to the bell base as Safetran original modal had a larger base while Invensys Rail has a smaller base and the smaller base design carried onto Siemens Modal. The Invensys Modal was used from the early 2010s around 2013 to 2015 - 2016 where Siemens took over making this Bell like mentioned above the Siemens Modal is the same design as the Invensys Rail modal with there bases. Siemens took over from the mid 2010s to the present time making this electronic bell.

Now labeling with the bell. If you noticed on my channel I just don't call is a Siemens E-Bell or Invensys Rail E-Bell but Siemens/Safetran Type 3 E-Bells or Invensys Rail/Safetran Type 3 E-Bells is because I seen videos and pictures of the inside of these bells and the Invensys Rail and Siemens Modal both have the Invensys or Siemens logos and right beside each there is also a Safetran logo meaning Safetran still makes parts of this bell by assumption. This differs from The Safetran Type 2 E-Bell and NEG E-Bell situation since they are also the same exact design bells as after Safetran stopped making there Type 2 E-Bell and NEG Started there was no Safetran Logo anywhere on NEG E-Bells therfore by assumption NEG 100% made there bells after Safetran stopped making the Safetran Type 2 E-Bell which is why I don't call NEG E-Bells NEG/Safetran Type 2 E-Bells like I do with Siemens/Safetran Type 3 E-Bells.

Rail lines in California that use this electronic bell are Metrolink, CFNR, SJVR, LA Metro, MTS, and SACRT. A majority of these on Metrolink are original modal Safetran Type 3 High Pitch E-Bells but some are also Invensys and Siemens on their lines with newer ones. These are more common in Southern California on Metrolink owned signals in SoCal with Metrolink only had used the high pitch modal. Other lines in SoCal that use these are LA Metro which started in 2018 using the low pitch Siemens modals then in 2020 using both the low and high pitch Siemens models. MTS started using them in 2012 being the low pitch modal of both the Original Safetran Type 3 low pitch modals and the Invensys Rail/Safetran Type 3 low pitch modals. In 2020 MTS added using the Siemens/Safetran Type 3 High Pitch Modals along with the low pitch modals. Now up here in NorCal SACRT started using these in 2020 both the low pitch & high pitch modals of Siemens/Safetran Type 3 modals. The CFNR & SJVR Rail lines mostly have the Invensys Rail modal since they started using them in the early mid 2010s when they were installed but Siemens Modals are also on those lines as they are still installing them from the mid to late 2010s to the present time. CFNR is located in Northern California while the SJVR is in Central California.

I also wanted to state this. Tone is related to the volume of the bell and pitch is the sound frequency of the bell. For example there are low tone modals of the Safetran Type 3 High Pitch E-Bell and high tones modals of high pitch and vise versa for low pitch modals being high or low tone.
