What is that? 🔎
In this series we explore various Little Tokyo landmarks and what people know about their history. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak we were not able to interview people on the street, so we reached out to Kizuna Advisory Council member Alan Nishio to help us answer our questions. Join us as we ask him the age old question of "what is that?"

The Little Tokyo Timeline, located on the north side of First St. was created by the director of Yale University's graphic design program, Sheila Levrant de Bretteville. It was meant to be apart of the 1996 public art project called Memories of Little Tokyo. Be sure to check out the timeline during your next visit to Little Tokyo.

This video was made part of the "Generation to Generation" project, funded by the California Civil Liberties Program, which brings the histories, experiences, and intergenerational stories of the incarceration, resettlement, and redress to a youth audience.
