Now the Hurstbridge line has a service frequency of every 40 minutes between Eltham and Hurstbridge off-peak, which is unacceptable in today's standards. This is mainly due to infrastructure limitations and a lack of funding for duplication works. As an alternative, I present to you, the 343.
Running from Greensborough Station to Hurstbridge Station via St Helena and Diamond Creek, this provides a different route to connect with the Hurstbridge line at the stations with 40 minute frequencies. However, this route is only good on weekdays. It does not run on weekends or Public Holidays.
