Описание: I know absolutely nothing about cars, I'm probably the worst person imaginable to ask if you need help fixing a car so I was curious to see whether Car Mechanic Simulator VR could teach me a thing or two about being a VR mechanic and increase my vehicular knowledge. From about two hours of Car Mechanic Simulator VR gameplay I learnt a few things: I really don't know anything about cars. Mechanics are very clever. This game is HARD.

Car Mechanic Simulator VR leans into all the things that have made other simulator games / VR simulator games so popular (if you've played PC building simulator, House Flipper etc... you'll feel right at home here), the interactions are simple and there's a real relaxing joy to breaking something down into it's parts only to reassemble it again later. However Car Mechanic Simulator VR suffers from a lack of meaningful tutorials, I spent much of my playtime trying to figure things out that the game hadn't sign posted for me and almost quite a few times due to frustration. Now some of this will have been due to my limited knowledge of cars in general but other frustrations were born from convoluted menu systems and the game doing a poor job of teaching me exactly how to access certain things. However when you do finally reach that break through moment there is a real joy to be had there, overcoming a road block and feeling like you've learned something actually ends up being a strength here but I fear some players will throw in the towel before reaching that point. I've played a tonne of VR simulator games and I have to say this felt the deepest in terms of systems and gameplay loop so those looking for something to get lost in for hours will likely find lots to love here.
