A herd of Asian elephants started an unexpected trek across China in March last year heading north from a nature reserve near the border with Myanmar.
By the end of last year they had travelled more than 320 kilometres and now they are more than 480 kilometres from where they started.
The migration has been speculated to be because of the destruction of the elephants’ natural habitat.
