A ready made herd of crossbred cows and heifers calving from start of February, through March and into early April. At the time of publication (13th Feb) there are approx 30 calved. Those left to calve are in calf to Dairy AI, Angus AI and Belgian Blue AI. The cows themselves are in excellent body condition of 3-3.5 BCS and are considered 500-510kgs liveweight when in mid-lactation in Summer. A young group with 80% of the group are 4th lactation or less and oldest cow is going into 7th lactation.
