Following and cultivating according to the teaching of the Infinite Life Sutra, adamantly recite Amitabha will end your suffering and aid you to transcend the cycle of birth and death. These happens due to the help by the vows of Amitabha Buddha (48 vows of Amitabha Buddha).

Master YinGuang, the 13th Patriarch of the Pure Land School, recommended people in this Dharma Ending Age practice the Pure Land teaching - recite Amitabha Buddha unceasingly.

A recent illustration is: Venerable Master Hai Xian's (1901-2013) inspiring and amazing life of cultivation and Pure Land rebirth. He has been reciting Amitabha for 92 years. He was reborn into the Western Pure Land at the age of 112 and has left a whole body relics.

Practitioners recite Amitabha Buddha must come from your heart, from your repentance, your filial piety to you parents, your respect, sincerity, your compassion that has wisdom to all sentient and non-sentient beings, you will only reap good karma and merits.


The practice of Buddha name chanting will work effectively with pure conviction and strong determination. The practitioner is assured to go to the Western Pure Land and become a Buddha in one life time if one practices according to the teachings.

Contemplation of Buddha Amitabha's name all the time, persistently and without any doubt or intermingling with other thoughts leads one to true realisation.
May you all attain enlightenment and be born in the Pure Land.


During Great Master Lianchi’s lifetime, there was a drought 1 year in Hangzhou. The governor of Hangzhou requested Great Master Lianchi to pray for rain for the local people. Great Master Lianchi said, “I do not know how to pray for rain. I only know Buddha-name chanting.” But since praying for rain was for the benefit of the public, he had to do his best. He walked in the fields, mindfully chanting “Amituofo.” As it is said, “Sincerity will receive a response.” A pure, sincere mind will naturally obtain a response. Indeed, it rained wherever the great master walked! This is a wondrous benefit from truly learning and practicing according to the Buddha’s teachings.
This is also the best proof.


You can print the book "Essence of the Infinite Life Sutra" total of 336 pages into A3 size for yourself, your parents, relatives, the elderly, people who cannot access internet,... so that they can read more easily, effectively. Since your doing are helping an individual to leave suffering, to repent their wrongdoing, to assist them to transcend the cycly of birth and death, and to attain Buddhahood, therefore, your merits are immeasurable.

Constantly recite Amitabha Buddha in your mind or repeat the Buddhist videos/images/works (24 hours is best) day and night to not only have peaceful days and nights, pure mind, but to help countless sentient beings around you. You can even repeat Amitabha Recitation, lectures... silently (no sound/volume) because many sentient beings from other realms (heaven, animals, hungry ghosts...) can all hear this and gain limitless and immeasurable benefits. Everyone, visible and invisible beings, sentient and non-sentient beings receive these great benefits due to the reliance and utmost trust in Amitabha Buddha.

In addition, you will eradicate countless of your bad karmas/retributions and offenses that you have committed in the past in the present due to your repenting of your wrongdoings. All the above benefits happen due to we wholeheartedly rely on the strength of Amitabha Buddha's vows.
