Описание: This was my sixth and I suspect, final visit to the various shipwrecks of the German High Seas fleet at Scapa Flow. My first visit was in 1995 and then the ships were in excellent condition, since then corrosion and perhaps divers air have weakened their structures and they are now collapsing. The ships were scuttled by their crews in 1919 while interned/ surrendered at Scapa Flow at the end of WW1. This ten minute video shows the highlights of my weeks diving with narration added to aid the viewer in understanding what they are seeing. if you want videos dealing with specific shipwrecks at Scapa have a look at some of my other videos from earlier trips. The thumbnail for this video show a Konig class battleship of the type we dived on showing both the main armament and casemented secondary guns. Like many large warships the Battleships turned turtle as they sank. All dives were done on a 15l cylinder with weak nitrox mixes. dive times 35 minutes on average and a water temp of 12c and therefore drysuits are a very good idea when diving up here.
