M/S Stråssa was sunk by German fire during the Battles of Narvik in May 1940 during the Second World War. She was a cargo ship that had been used for iron ore export and now rests at the Narvik harbour sea bed at about 30 m depth up to 14 m depth. The ship is 120 m long and 16 m wide. It is a lot of fun for divers to visit the cargo hulls and peek into different rooms/hulls that are now partly open, exploring the old engines and other equipment. My definite favourite wreck of Narvik!
