Hi friends, today I'm going to share with you three proverbs that deal with something that we use regularly and that is the pillow. Let's see what the pillow can teach us.

The first proverb: a borrowed pillow seldom brings good sleep. What does this proverb mean? It means don't borrow things from people. Don't borrow money. Don't borrow things from people. Live out of your own means. It also tells us don't make other people do some work for you when you can do it yourself.

The second proverb: there's no pillow so soft as a clear conscience. You might have a golden bed and the softest of pillows, but the best pillow is a clear conscience. When you live your day in complete peace with yourself, when you do what is right, when you live the truth, that is the best way to get a good night's sleep.

And the third proverb: your pillow is your best advisor. This is a Swedish proverb. It tells us when you have the time, don't rush into a decision but take the decision the next day. Ignatius of Loyola always tells the Jesuits when you're taking a decision, put down everything very clearly but when you have time, wait over the issue and in the morning you'll have it perfectly well for you. Simple advice, put it into practice and you will see how wonderfully it works.
