[MY HARDEST, UNLUCKIEST VICTOR] Spectrum Cyclone by Temp 100% // Extreme Demon #23

Описание: I have been dreaming about finally uploading this level for almost a year now. After I beat Yatagarasu, my previous hardest, I tried shooting for this one and then instantly got humbled after taking 3k attempts to do 75-100 even once. That did not demotivate me since I have known and admired this level since it was about top 30 on the list. Every extreme I have beaten from Yata to now, from Stalemate Redux to Sonic Wave, has all been practice for this specific completion. And personally I think it worked. Despite Yata still being my second hardest, I feel so much better and more confident at the game after completing some in between extremes than I was when I beat Yata. So here it is. After starting this in the middle of November, after streaming every day I was able to stream, after dying at the final cube for the first time about a month before the completion, I persevered through an impossible mental challenge, that, without wanting to bring anyone down when saying this, would have made most people give up halfway. So here it is. Thank you everyone for sticking by the level that took me the longest amount of streams and attempts by a fair margin.

As for the level, I think its incredible. It's so impressively perfect I am nothing but heartbroken for not being able to have a good experience with it. The predrop, despite what I was told, got insanely consistent and the only hiccups it has is the first hold of the first ship at 8% and the 16% yellow orb at the UFO. Everything else is really fair throughout the entire level. The drop till the end flows insanely well and is incredibly satisfying to pull through. I would say the hardest part of the level is without a doubt the first half of the drop, that being 27-54. The UFO at 51-54% is one of the most annoying chokepoints I have had the displeasure to go through, having died to these percentages 245 times. However, thanks to the level being so insanely fun, I wouldn't say it annoyed me as much as Sonic Wave 49%, despite 49 on sw killing me "only" 58 times. Goes to show how good the level is and that bad luck cannot ruin enjoyment when you know how to make good gameplay. Then there's the 63 Spider, that, without exaggeration, is the hardest and most precise piece of gameplay I have ever managed to do. Doing 63-70% for the first time took me about 4000 attempts on its own. However, the click pattern is so consistent that I don't regard it as the hardest part. Like in terms of raw gameplay, it is by far the one with the tightest gaps, but the click pattern is so much more consistent and fun to pull off in comparison to other parts like the ship at 40% and the 51% UFO. The ending is iconic and very well received by most and yeah, even though I did die 172 times past 75%, I still think its the most fun part of the level. It's just that I got so tired of waking up every day and doing 75-100% from a startpos. I mean I had done the run 64 times by the time I beat it, can you blame me? The last cube is probably the easiest part alongside 55-62, but its the exact opposite of what I excel at, so it beat my ass. Yes I had 50 final cube deaths, no I am not lying, the VODs are public information. I personally think I excel at click pattern stuff, and the final cube is not one of those parts. You have to think about every single ultra precise input and can't just "have a click pattern for it" since there's such big pauses in between each input. So yeah. Perfect level thanks for reading.
