Описание: Spring is officially underway at Hope and Wildflowers! In this video I'm doing my first hive inspection of 2026 across all 5 colonies. With temperatures hitting the low 70s in early March here in Western Maryland, the timing was right to crack the lids and do a quick wellness check, confirming each colony has a laying queen, adequate food reserves, and is building heading into the season. I found eggs, larvae, capped brood, nectar, and bee bread across the apiary, and all of the colonies are showing strong signs of growth. I also topped everyone off with fondant, a pollen patty, and an AP23 patty placed directly over the brood cluster. Big plans ahead for 2026 including splits, packages, and hopefully a swarm catch or two. The season is on!
