Spring Beekeeping Begins! 🐝 | First Full Hive Inspection of 2026

Описание: The beekeeping season officially begins! In this video we perform our first full hive inspection of 2026 to see how the bees made it through winter. This first check of the year is always exciting—and a little nerve-racking.


We’re looking for the most important signs of a healthy hive:

• Is the queen alive and laying?

• Is there brood coming in?

• Do they still have enough food stores?

• How strong is the colony after winter?


Early spring inspections tell us a lot about how the season will go. Strong colonies mean honey production, splits, and swarm season right around the corner.


Beekeeping in spring moves fast, and every hive tells a different story.
