PROJECT STEPS
1. You work in the marketing department at Clearwater Resort, a five-star establishment on the island of Maui in Hawaii. You've been asked to prepare a presentation for new employees regarding guest policies and practices.

Start on the title slide by selecting the title, "Our Commitment to Our Guests," and then change the font to Aharoni.
2. With the title slide still displaying, change the subtitle font color to Turquoise, Accent 1, Darker 50% (5th column, 6th row in the Theme Colors palette). Bold and italicize the subtitle text and then increase the font size to 32 point.
3. On Slide 2 ("Our Guests Come First!"), change the layout to Picture with Caption.
4. With Slide 2 still displaying, insert the picture file Support_PPT365_EOM1-2_Hammock.jpg into the left content placeholder so the slide looks as shown in Figure 1.

5. On Slide 3 ("Customer Arrival"), select the word, Customer, in the title placeholder and replace it with the word Guest in the title. In the first bullet, "All visitors & unregistered guests must check in at the office upon arrival," select the words "visitors & unregistered guests", and replace them with guests and visitors so that the new paragraph reads "All guests and visitors must check in at the office upon arrival".
6. With Slide 3 still displaying, increase the indent level of the second paragraph, "Staff greet the guests and ensure a smooth check-in experience," so that it becomes a second-level paragraph. Decrease the indent level of the fourth paragraph, "Guests are provided with resort policies and a map" so that it becomes a first-level paragraph.
7. Remaining on Slide 3, enter We will listen to concerns, apologize as needed, and find positive solutions. in the Notes pane.
8. On Slide 4 ("Water Safety Policies"), change the slide layout to Two Content and then insert a picture file Support_PPT365_EOM1-2_Pool.jpg into the right content placeholder. Resize the picture proportionally so that it is 3" high.
9. On Slide 5 ("Pet Management Policy"), italicize the text "kept on a leash" and bold the text "immediately" to emphasize them.
10. Insert a new Slide 6 using the Picture with Caption layout and enter We Love Pets! in the title placeholder. Enter On leash, well-behaved, and quiet! in the content placeholder. Change the font color of the title "We Love Pets!" to Red (2nd column in the Standard Colors palette) and then underline this title. Insert the file Support_PPT365_EOM1-2_Dog.jpg in the left content placeholder.
11. Move Slide 7 so that it becomes the last slide in the presentation, Slide 8.
12. On the new Slide 7 ("Guest Conduct"), change the layout to Two Content. Create a multilevel bulleted list in the right content placeholder. Enter 10 pm to 8 am in the first-level paragraph. Enter No loud music as a second-level paragraph and No large gatherings as a third-level paragraph.
13. With Slide 7 still displayed, insert the file Support_PPT365_EOM1-2_Party.jpg in the left content placeholder. Resize the picture proportionally so that it is 5" wide.
14. Check the spelling in the presentation to identify and correct all errors.
In Slide Sorter view, your presentation should look like the Final Figure on the following page. Save your changes, close the presentation, and exit PowerPoint. Follow the directions on the website to submit your completed project.
