PROJECT STEPS
1. You are a marketing specialist for Treetop Lifestyle Apps, a startup company that develops apps to help people manage daily living activities—from nutrution to fitness to relaxation. The company has recently developed a new app called Best Habits. Your supervisor, Tina Knutson, has asked you to develop a presentation about the new app for delivery to a group of potential investors. Insert an audio file as follows to attract attention to the presentation:
a. On the title slide ("Best Habits Product Launch"), insert an audio clip from the file Support_PPT365_CS8A_Celebrate.mp3.
b. Position the audio clip in the lower-right corner of the slide.
c. Fix the audio clip to start playing Automatically.
d. Fix the audio clip to Loop Until Stopped.
e. Fix the audio clip to Play Across Slides.
f. Fix the volume to Low.
g. Hide the audio clip object during the slide show.
2. Remaining on the title slide, format the slide background as follows to make the company name ("Treetop Lifestyle Apps") easier to read:
a. Change the transparency of the background picture to 20%.
b. Change the Offset top and Offset bottom settings to 0%.
3. Change a slide master as follows to use a custom layout and design for some slides:
a. Switch to Slide Master View, and then duplicate the Two Content Layout.
b. Use Product as the name of the new layout, replacing the placeholder name of 1_Two Content.
c. Insert the company logo from the file Support_PPT365_CS8A_Logo.png.
d. Resize the logo to a height and width of 1.2".
e. Crop the logo to the Oval shape.
f. Position the logo in the top-right corner of the slide master as shown in Figure 1.
g. Close Slide Master View.

4. Switch to Handout Master View, and then customize the Handout Master as follows:
a. Enter Treetop Lifestyle Apps as the header text.
b. Change the font size of the header text to 20 point.
c. Change the handout orientation to Landscape.
d. Close Handout Master View.
5. Switch to Notes Master view, and then customize the Notes Master as follows:
a. Change the font size for notes to 16 point to make the notes easy to read.
b. Enter Treetop Lifestyle Apps as the footer text.
c. Change the font size of the footer text to 14 point.
d. Close Notes Master view and return to Normal View.
6. Apply the new Product layout to Slides 4 and 5.
7. Switch to Slide Sorter View and work with sections as follows to reorganize the slides:
a. Add a section between Slides 8 and 9.
b. Use Marketing as the name of the new section.
c. Collapse all the sections, and then change their order as follows:
Default Section
Product Overview
Marketing
Launch Plan
d. Expand all the sections, and then return to Normal View.
8. On Slide 2 ("Agenda"), modify the animations of the rectangles as follows to make them more consistent:
a. Copy the animation from the far left rectangle to the far right rectangle, which is titled "Launch Plan".
b. Use the Animation Pane to reorder the rectangles so that far left rectangle ("Product Overview") is animated first.
c. Add a delay of 1 second to the animation of the far right rectangle ("Launch Plan").
9. On Slide 3 ("Product Overview"), respond to the first comment from Tina Knutson as follows:
a. Type I agree. as the reply.
b. Delete the bullet point as Tina recommends.
c. Read the second comment, and then use the placeholder to insert the picture file Support_PPT365_CS8A_Sleep.jpg.
10. Remaining on Slide 3, edit the alt text to the picture you just inserted so that screen readers can identify the picture:

11. Remaining on Slide 3, change the bullets as follows to use different symbols for the level 1 text:
a. Change all the round bullets to stars (Symbol 171 in the Wingdings font).
b. Change the size of all the star bullets to 115% of the text.
12. On Slide 4 ("Key Features"), remove the animations from the picture because they distract attention from the text.
13. On Slide 5 ("Best Habits Benefits"), modify the animation on the SmartArt diagram so the levels appear one by one.
14. Remaining on Slide 5, add the Breeze sound to the animation of the SmartArt object.
15. On Slide 6 ("Best Habits Versions"), add and modify animations to emphasize the versions and the features of the premium version as follows:
a. Apply the Lines motion path animation to the "Versions" text box.
