How do we control and monitor our temperatures? Temperature is one of the most important factors in achieving maximum yield in a grow room. A crucial tool in your garden that allows you to measure temperature is called a min max, also known as a hygro thermometer, which allows you to measure minimum and maximum temperature and humidity at the plant canopy.
Measuring temperature at the plant canopy with the min max, instead of measuring the whole room with one thermometer placed on the wall, is a crucial element of achieving maximum yield. You want to know the actual temperature of your plants, and having a temp/humidity measuring probe hanging directly above your plants is the best means of acquiring accurate temperature and humidity numbers. Too much light, or too little, can become extremely problematic. If your plants do not have a controlled environment, they cannot grow to their maximum yield.
