Should I be using Vitamin C in the day or at night?
👩🏻⚕️ You can use Vitamin C both in the day 🌇and at night🌃
When you use it in the day ☀️
It has an added advantage of protecting your skin from harmful effects of ☀️UVA and UVB, as well as pollution🌫️
When you use it at night 🌛
It is preventing fine lines and wrinkles and hyperpigmentation as well as acting as a potent antioxidant.
👉🏻 So using it in the day🌤️ is more beneficial but you need to use the right formulation.
👉🏻 Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate or Ascorbyl palmitate are great 👍🏻
👉🏻 L-ascorbic acid which is a highly potent form of Vitamin C must be used with a lot of sunscreen🧴because it gets oxidised the moment it is exposed to light☀️ and then the efficacy reduces⬇️
Thus, use L-ascorbic acid either with the sunscreen or use it at night.
👍🏻 All the other Vitamin C’s you can happily use during the day.
