Buckingham Palace says it stands ready to help Thames Valley Police in its assessment of allegations against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The force is looking into claims he shared confidential documents with Jeffrey Epstein while serving as UK trade envoy.
Mountbatten-Windsor has always denied any allegations of wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.
